This policy explains what happens to the information you send us. We are a mobile home transport, setup and anchoring company. To quote a job we need to know where the home is, where it is going, what it is and how to reach you. That is personal information, and this page says plainly what we do with it.
The short version
- We collect what you send us through the quote form, by phone, by email or by text — and what our website records automatically.
- We use it to quote, plan, permit and perform the work, and to keep the records the law and our insurers require.
- We do not sell your information. We do not rent your contact details to lead brokers.
- You can ask to see it, correct it or have it deleted by emailing admin@mobilehometransportandsetup.com.
Who we are
Mobile Home Transport and Setup operates this website and provides the services described on it. Our business address is 848 Lothe St, Sun Prairie, WI 53590, United States. You can reach us at admin@mobilehometransportandsetup.com or 312-940-1280. Where this policy says “we” or “us”, it means that company.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and, where relevant, the address of the home being moved and of the destination lot or land.
- Job details: the size, age, make and condition of the home, photographs you upload, site access notes, utility information and target dates.
- Correspondence: the content of the emails, texts and call notes that follow, including the quote we send you.
- Billing details: if you become a customer, the information needed to invoice you and to process payment. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor, not stored on this website.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system and the pages you viewed.
- Referral data: the search term or site that brought you here, where your browser passes it on.
- Cookies and similar technologies: described in the section below.
Information from other sources
If a park manager, a dealer, a realtor or a family member contacts us on your behalf, we will hold their message and your details as part of the same job record. If you reach us through a referral partner or an advertising platform, that platform may tell us which advertisement produced the enquiry.
Why we use it
- To quote and plan the work — including route surveys, permit applications and site checks.
- To perform and document the work — job sheets, photographs, inspection paperwork and warranty records.
- To communicate — scheduling, changes, delays, and answering the question you actually asked.
- To bill and be paid — invoicing, payment processing, collections where necessary.
- To meet legal and insurance obligations — permit files, tax records, and the evidence an insurer requires after a claim.
- To improve the website — understanding which pages answer questions and which ones send people to the phone.
- To follow up — if you asked for a quote and did not proceed, we may contact you once or twice about that job. You can tell us to stop at any time.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects, and we do not build advertising profiles from the photographs or addresses you send us.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed to do the job or to run the business:
- Our own crew and subcontractors assigned to your move, set, anchoring or repair.
- Permit authorities, escort providers and inspection bodies where a permit, escort or inspection requires your name, the home details and the route.
- Service providers who host the website, deliver email, run our customer records system, process payments and measure website traffic. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing.
- Professional advisers and insurers where necessary for a claim, a dispute or a legal obligation.
- Authorities where we are legally required to disclose, or where disclosure is necessary to protect someone’s safety.
If the business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the buyer as part of that transaction. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: keeping the site working, remembering your choices, and measuring traffic. Analytics tools record pages viewed, time on page and approximate location derived from IP address; we configure them so that advertising features are off unless you consent. If you submit a quote form, the analytics platform may record that a form was submitted, but not the contents of the form.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you from requesting a quote by phone or email. Where your jurisdiction requires consent before analytics cookies are set, you will see a consent banner and nothing non-essential will load until you accept.
How long we keep it
- Quotes that do not become jobs: up to 24 months, so we can answer a follow-up question without asking you everything again.
- Completed jobs: for as long as needed to support the warranty, and then for the period our insurers and tax rules require — typically seven years.
- Website analytics: 14 months, then aggregated.
- Marketing preferences: until you withdraw them.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need for a legal, warranty or insurance purpose.
- Ask us to stop sending marketing messages, or to stop contacting you about a job you decided not to do.
- Ask us not to sell or share your information — we do not sell it, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.
- Appeal a decision we make about a request.
To exercise any of these, email [EMAIL] with enough detail for us to find your record — usually your name, phone number and the address of the home. We will respond within the period your state requires, normally 30 to 45 days, and we will not charge you for a first request. We will not discriminate against you for making one.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not knowingly collect information from consumers under 16 for any commercial purpose.
Security
This site runs over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted encrypted, and access to job records is limited to the people who need them. No system is perfect. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Children
Our services are for adults. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to permit offices, code documents, manufacturers and other organisations. Once you leave this site, their privacy practices apply, not ours.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date below. Material changes affecting existing customers will be communicated directly where we have a working email address.
Effective date: October, 2026 | Last updated: October, 2026
